Quarterly meetups on Wednesdays plus a summer summit; dates are posted on the consortium's calendar.

A network of educators, employers, law enforcement, public agencies and students focused on cybersecurity education and workforce development in the Central Valley, run as a project of the nonprofit Cyber Professor. It grew out of a Fresno State and Fresno City College project that held a regional summit at Fresno City College in November 2024; the first quarterly meeting was at Fresno State on March 12, 2025. The most recent event found is the Summer Summit 2026, held Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Fresno State. Registration is required and space is limited; the consortium's pages list no fee.

Meeting schedule not published; club teams compete in the National Cyber League each season.

Student club advised by the college's Information Systems faculty. The college reported on June 11, 2026 that Cyber Club and Ethical Hacking students fielded four teams in the Spring 2026 National Cyber League competition; the NCL lists the Spring 2026 Team Game as April 24 to 26, 2026, used here as the club's most recent activity. The college's cybersecurity page also lists support for CyberPatriot teams at Clovis Unified schools.

Adjacent: a volunteer-run nonprofit hackerspace and makerspace, not a security group. Community events are free and open to the public; membership and classes are paid. Its public calendar shows DEF CON 559 meetings from 2017 to 2019, a monthly locksport meetup that ran until 2023, and a one-off Cybersecurity Meetup on August 20, 2024, but no security event since. Current regular events include a Linux meetup, the Fresno Python meetup and a web community meetup.

The consortium's own pages disagree on dates. Its home page calendar lists the fall 2026 meetup on October 7, 2026, while its Summer Summit page says September 23, 2026; the Summer Summit itself is given as June 24, 2026 on one page and June 4, 2026 on another. This page follows the home page calendar; confirm on csjvcc.org before going.
The consortium's 2027 list also names a meetup on "Wednesday, May 4"; May 4, 2027 is a Tuesday, so it is not listed here until the date is corrected.
DC559, Fresno's DEF CON group, has shown no activity since 2019. The nearest active DEF CON group is DC209, which meets most months on the third Wednesday in Turlock, about 100 miles north.
Root Access Hackerspace is a general makerspace; it has hosted security meetups in the past but lists none on its calendar since August 2024.
No ISSA, ISACA, ISC2, OWASP, WiCyS or InfraGard chapter meets in Fresno. The nearest ISSA chapter is Kern County ISSA in Bakersfield; the others meet in the Sacramento or San Francisco Bay areas, more than two hours away.
