Frisco itself has Collin College's Frisco Campus, home of the college's IT Center and cybersecurity program, and hosts GuidePoint Security's GPSEC Dallas at the Omni PGA Resort on October 29, 2026. Most recurring security meetings happen elsewhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro: monthly hacker meetups in north Dallas and Denton, plus ISSA, ISACA, InfraGard and WiCyS chapters that meet around the region and occasionally in Frisco. The North Texas ISSA conference (CSC13) and SecureWorld Dallas both take place at the Plano Event Center in October 2026.
