MEMSEC, a joint meeting of DEF CON 901, OWASP Memphis and Memphis 2600, gathers on the first Friday of every month at the University of Memphis FedEx Institute of Technology for a talk and open discussion. One monthly meeting serves as the DEF CON 901 group, the OWASP Memphis chapter meeting and the Memphis 2600 meeting. Free and open to the public, with all skill levels welcome; pizza is usually provided. Recent talks covered OWASP Juice Shop and filesystems (September 4, 2026), software supply chain attacks, hardware reverse engineering and Bluetooth impersonation.
