Honolulu's most regular security meetings are the ISC2 Hawaii Chapter's monthly evening sessions in Kakaʻako, often co-hosted with ISACA Hawaii, plus quarterly DC808 gatherings. CyberHawaii runs the free Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference each June, and the GovTech Hawaii Public Sector Cybersecurity Summit is set for December 2, 2026. Student teams at Honolulu CC, UH West Oʻahu and UH Mānoa compete nationally.

Open to anyone in the state. The group came out of a pandemic hiatus with a September 25, 2025 gathering at The Social (Ward). The July 14, 2026 gathering, a talk by Brendan Conlon, was held at the HI Tech Hui office, 401 Kamakee St Suite 206; its date was corrected from July 13. Organizers ask attendees to fill in a short survey before each gathering, and announcements also go out on the mailing list, Bluesky and Discord.

Annual Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference in June, plus partner events listed on its calendar
A Hawaii information sharing and analysis nonprofit (an affiliate of CyberUSA). It organizes the Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference with the FBI Honolulu office, the State Office of Homeland Security and the University of Hawaiʻi, and co-organized INTERFACE Honolulu 2026. UH Mānoa's student cybersecurity club, open to beginners and non-ICS majors; it runs weekly meetings and enters competitions. The ACM Mānoa page lists current officers and a weekly meeting but no dates. The newest dated activity found is members qualifying for the DEF CON CTF finals in an online qualifier in April 2025. Competition club for Honolulu CC's Computing, Security and Networking Technologies program and its alumni at UH West Oʻahu.
