Greensboro's security community centers on BSides Triad's free evening meetups, held about once a month (most 2026 meetups were at the Cathleen Clay Library), plus ISC2 Piedmont Triad and Cloud Security Alliance chapter meetings that move around the Triad. N.C. A&T, a CAE research school, opens some Cybersecurity Awareness Month events to the public, and the North Carolina National Guard held the first Minuteman Cyber Cup, a statewide collegiate CTF, in Greensboro on April 11, 2026.
